Please find
below a gallery of pictures of my Penny Farthings.
The geared bicycle
which I rode to Paris was a one off, very heavy and complicated, and I will not be making
any more!
The mk2 Penny was a delight to ride after the geared bicycle, these and the new mk3 are
the machines you are able to purchase from me.
I have made the pictures of a higher resolution than on the rest of the site, so the down
load time will be slightly longer.

The mk1 geared
Penny Farthing. The geared Penny weighs a
horrendous 77lbs, but is extremely strong! I used a Sturmey Archer 3speed hub with drum
brake, and am able to change the overall gearing by swapping sprockets.
The Mk2 Penny
Farthing This machine weighs 34lbs
and has a 50" front wheel and a 20" rear.
